Winnie Foster is the main character in the story. She is 10 years old, and just wants to get away from her parents and grandmother constantly looking over her. She wants an adventure, but is scared of leaving the safety of her home and parents. But, in the end she got exactly what she wanted and more.
Mae Tuck holds her family together. She feels that it's ok that her and her family are going to live forever. She knows that there's nothing to stop or prevent it. She never wanted to end up kidnapping Winnie, but she knew that she had to in order to keep her families secret.
Angus Tuck isn't happy at all about living forever. He thinks that his and his families life is of the wheel that the rest of life lives on. With no death, his family will be on the earth forever. He tried to kill himself with a shotgun, just to prove that him and his family will never die, and will always be alive on the earth.
Jesse Tuck, feels that it's great to be living on the earth forever and not dying. He wants to live his life like nothing ever happened, with drinking the spring water. He thinks that his brother and father need to live their life with a little more fun, after all you can't be sad and miseable forever.
Miles Tuck, regrets drinking the spring water. He is miserble and sad, he just wants to die. After, his wife and kids left him because they thought he solded his sold to the devil because he was not aging. He had nothing but his family after they left. And, they were there to stay forever.
Man in the Yellow Suit
The man in the yellow suit, wants to get in everyones way of living. He wants to tell the Tuck's secret to the world. But, his decision about the spring water costed him his life. He cared more about money and fame than his own life.
The Foster's don't allow Winnie any kind of freedom. They only allow her to stay inside of the families gate. They, are overprotective and don't want Winnie to have any adventure or fun in her life by keeping her inside the families gate.
